Returns and Refunds Policy

We are committed to providing high-quality products and services. Please review our returns and refunds policy below to understand your rights and our processes.
General Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This policy applies to faulty or defective items, and to "change of mind" returns for eligible items (see details below).
To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be in the same condition that you received it.

Be unused and in its original packaging.

Include the receipt or proof of purchase.

Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers who purchase goods online or over the phone have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their items. This is known as the "cooling-off period."
Exceptions to the cooling-off period:

Bespoke or custom-made items.

Digital content that has been downloaded or accessed, unless it is defective or not as described.
Items returned inside the cooling-off period must be unused, in their original packaging, and in condition suitable for resale.
If You've Changed Your Mind
If you change your mind about a purchase, you are responsible for the return postage costs. The item remains your responsibility until we receive it.
Please contact us before returning any items. Items fulfilled digitally are not eligible for return or refund unless they are defective or not as described. Returned physical items must be in their original sealed packaging.
If the Item is Defective
If your item is defective, you have the right to request a refund, repair, or replacement:

Within 30 days: You are entitled to a full refund.

After 30 days but within the warranty period: We will repair or replace the item where possible. If this is not possible, you may request a refund.
If your return is approved within the first 30 days, we will provide a postage label or arrange for a courier and any necessary packing instructions.
After 30 days, you are responsible for returning the item or vehicle to us at your own cost in line with our Warranty Policy.
The item remains your responsibility until we receive it. Items sent back without prior return authorisation will not be accepted.
Shipping Damage
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at info@eastyorkshireretrofits.co.uk if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and work to resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items are non-returnable, including:

Special order products.

Instrument clusters and other electrical items.

Digital content that has been downloaded or accessed, unless defective or not as described.

Sale items and gift cards.
If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us before making a return.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a replacement item is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 14 days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund.
Once a return has been authorised, we must receive the item within 14 days. If the item is not received within this timeframe, the matter will be considered closed.
Items Involving Installation
Our labour costs are non-refundable. If products that require installation are returned, we reserve the right to charge additional labour fees for the removal of these products.
Tools/Equipment
Our kits do not include tools or other equipment needed for installation unless specifically stated. Badge guides for Seat Sound systems are the only exception.
Warranty Limitations
Our warranty covers parts and labour supplied directly by East Yorkshire Retrofit Solutions Ltd for 24 months.
Exclusions include:

Normal wear and tear.

Accidental damage.

Modifications, repairs, or diagnostics carried out by third parties without our prior consent.

Software updates, coding, or adaptations performed elsewhere.
Customers must return the vehicle or components to us for investigation at their own cost. We will not reimburse third-party diagnostic or repair charges. If software coding or licences are undone by third parties, we may charge a fair fee to reinstate functionality.
